NORAC marine accommodation system installed at Jack-Up vessel “Haven”

The vessel will be the North Sea’s largest jack up hotel platform with accommo-dation unit counting 447 single cabins. It has been customized and outfitted to meet ConocoPhillips and the authorities’ requirements for a state-of-the-art accommodation unit on Ekofisk field.

The vessel arrived Arendal, Norway in August for hook up and final commissioning before mobilising for Ekofisk Field and the client ConocoPhillips. Norac has delivered complete range of interior systems: fire-rated walls, ceiling systems, prefabricated wet units, doors and windows. The Master Marine owned Jack-Up hotel platform has been transported from Indonesia to Norway for final outfitting and completion work.

Master Marine's new build represents a positive turn in a volatile period for the Norwegian offshore supplier industry. The project has secured business for Norac and a number of other subcontractors in the industry.
