Norac was established in 1974 at Vindholmen Verft in Arendal. The company’s first brand name was Akerpanel, and the company was at that time part of Aker. In 1982, Akerpanel was renamed Norac.

Our colleague, Mr. Arne Borg, has had a deep dive in old Norac archive and found one of our first reference lists – written on typewriter. As you can see from the reference list, Norac has been an international supplier from the beginning.
